Which fractions can the Fraction Finder detect? During short-path distillation, it can distinguish what is colloquially known as “Heads”, “Main Bodies”, and “Tails”. Short Path Distillation Head HB1 100 comes equipped with 34/45 discharge port and a 100mm bore that secures to a boiling flask with o-ring and clamp. The Short Path Distillation Head HB1 100, or previously SPD-4 MPD (modified path distillation), was created for one of our testers Breaking Dabs aka Heisenberg. With his unique skills he has helped us tune the HB series heads to evolve and provide solutions for our users. HB1 is designed to be ultra selective to evacuate all previous fractions before the main body without letting the main body through. The Short Path Distillation Head FC45 Tall (Previously SPD-6 FC45 Tall) model includes 45/50 main bore with a 29/42 discharge and 24/40 thermoport. This is the tallest of our FC45 models for more selectivity and reduced speeds. It has multiple rows of vigreux adding more rejection.
