The Cold Trap 1 GL to GL is designed to efficiently capture residual vapors and condensable compounds during vacuum and short path distillation processes. Constructed from durable borosilicate glass, this laboratory cold trap features a GL-18 threaded glass joint for secure compatibility with properly sized distillation components. Out the bottom sits a 45/50 joint that utilizes a Rodaviss connection and a dual threaded GL-18s exit to the vacuum pump. Positioned between the distillation apparatus and vacuum pump, it helps collect low-boiling fractions, residual solvents, and other condensable materials before they reach the pump. By protecting the vacuum system from contamination and helping maintain a stable vacuum, this cold trap is a valuable addition to short path distillation and other laboratory vacuum applications.
