Chromatography Column 6x48 (inches) with coarse/fine mixed frit and heavy wall thickness of 3mm. Comes with Rodaviss connection and 45/50 Chroma Cap (GL14 feed/vacuum port). The drain has a PTFE stopcock to GL18. All GLs are included. Chroma Cap has elongated recessed port with diffuser. This directs fluid spray against walls to gently fill the column and protect media from movement. All of our chromatography columns now have option to add an Ultra Sensitive Fraction Finder! Please use this column at your own risk! In addition to lab stands, it is recommended that you secure the lab stands to a wall or sturdy foundation while also using sandbags. This column will surpass 100+ lbs of weight holding full fluid. Please make sure you are offsetting the weight of your fluids. Which fractions can the Fraction Finder detect? During short-path distillation, it can distinguish what is colloquially known as “Heads”, “Main Bodies”, and “Tails”. Click here for a list of molecules, such as Delta-9 and more. What units of measure does the Fraction Finder digital readout use? The system uses Nanometers (nm) and Intensity (au). Can the Fraction Finder sensor fit on size 24 glass? If you have size 24 glass, order our 24/40 adapter, which can fit a size 29 sensor. What heat can the Fraction Finder sensor handle? The Fraction Finder sensor can handle around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. If you plan to exceed these limits, order one of our Hot Tech Adapters. Does the Fraction Finder work the same as an HPLC? The SVG-3 is a 3-zone digital identifier with all boards built in, for the first time user it comes STANDARD with 2-zone that reads two locations that are within (A)x10-4, to deliver accurate readings up to the range of 3-4 scale vacuum. The STANDARD SVG-3 is supplied with two extremely accurate and robust KF25 sensors that can either read at the distribution adapter/distillation and/or read the vacuum rate the pump is pulling. The SVG-3 comes with three pre-installed circuits built in, two of which are calibrated and installed for the 2 zone reading feature in the standard SVG-3 package. The third circuit installed and calibrated is READY and COMPLETELY setup for the addition of a UHVP sensor. So exactly what is this setup? Easy, this is a encompassing 3 zone controller, designed at its full potential to read accurate readings from the:- Distillation area of interest either at the cold trap, or at the reaction area.
