The Hochstrom High Flow Filter is the fastest unit on the market. It’s unique design allows it to operate under half vacuum pressure for full flow. Our peers & customers have reported the high flow surface area to be equivalent to a 18-24″ table-top unit. These units have a huge basin, but small holes, really preventing it from being efficient for it’s size. A table top or small buchner filtration unit will have flow issues due to the solution warming up & redissolving past the filtration medium. You also get the fluid rushing around the filter media as well as a large surface area for liquids to warm up. We have achieved maximum efficiency in a much shorter time for filtration. The Fraction Finder Sensor #29 consists of an optical light pulse and detector, acting as “the eyes” of the system. It wraps around a distillation set up condenser tube and connects to the Fraction Finder display to track important data on the distillation. These sensors are black for a reason:- Black absorbs all light while blocking out ambient light.
- This leads to better signaling and the most valid data possible transmitting to the Fraction Finder display.
- For example, a white sensor wouldn’t work because it would reflect the light into your glassware and into the sensor, harming the reading.
- This reduces any degradation from solvents, crude oils, extracts, etc..
- This protects the sensor and ensures that it lives to see an endless amount of runs.
- The black coating we use on each sensor is a high temperature, thermal resistant coating, it can withstand temperatures well above anything you’d see in a distillation lab.
- It’s nearly impossible to set one of our sensors on fire, the coating is almost completely fireproof!
- This protects the user, the equipment, and (in worst case scenarios) the entire lab.

The Cold Trap 3 is a liquid cooled triple coiled beast! Eliminate the need for dry ice in your lab and hook up to a chiller. Female 34/45 inlet and outlet provides the bore your vacuum pumps desire. Extreme duty capacity and redesigned custom sized parallel flow coils that supply you with unmatched cooling. Daisy chain your chiller hosing top to bottom to include the Cold Trap 3 Flask. The Diamond Miner is a direct replacement to the mason jar or the steel and glass pressure chambers on the market. Completely jacketed so you can use a chiller such as the AD40-7L to control the temperature inside the chamber and set different ramp points to optimize diamond growth. Rated up to 30PSI so it can be used with many different solvents. This vessel is chemical resistant on all valves and seals. Included with (4) GL14 , (2) valve plungers, 100mm flange clamp and o-ring. Chroma Column FF 6x48 with coarse/fine mixed frit and heavy wall thickness of 3mm. Special design allows for #29 Fraction Finder that permits you to check your fraction and watch your progression. Attach a FF between the frit and the stopcock area. Comes with rodaviss , GL18 and #45 Chroma Cap. Fraction Finder not included. In addition to lab stands, it is recommended that you secure the lab stands to a wall or sturdy foundation while also using sandbags. This column will surpass 100+ lbs of weight holding full fluid. The SVG-3 is a 3-zone digital identifier with all boards built in, for the first time user it comes STANDARD with 2-zone that reads two locations that are within (A)x10-4, to deliver accurate readings up to the range of 3-4 scale vacuum. The STANDARD SVG-3 is supplied with two extremely accurate and robust KF25 sensors that can either read at the distribution adapter/distillation and/or read the vacuum rate the pump is pulling. The SVG-3 comes with three pre-installed circuits built in, two of which are calibrated and installed for the 2 zone reading feature in the standard SVG-3 package. The third circuit installed and calibrated is READY and COMPLETELY setup for the addition of a UHVP sensor. So exactly what is this setup? Easy, this is a encompassing 3 zone controller, designed at its full potential to read accurate readings from the:- Distillation area of interest either at the cold trap, or at the reaction area.
- Initial vacuum pump readings that will allow the user to see the ultimate vacuum at the pump vs the vacuum at the first location.
- UHVP kits can now be added on with the third sensor that reads vacuum at the ultra high vacuum side.

The UHVP Sensor 8 Scale is for the SVG-3 or Apollo Vacuum Gauge. This is a post upgrade to work the 3rd UHVP port. The K.J.
