These Vacuubrand VARIO® pumping units feature a very high pumping speed even close to the outstanding ultimate vacuum and are ideal for high vacuum requirements with most high boiling solvents. They provide precise vacuum control by continuously adjusting the pump´s motor speed. The controller provides fully automatic evaporations without any need for parameter input. The pump design offers exceptionally high chemical resistance supporting almost universal usage in chemistry and pharmaceutics. The NT VARIO pumping unit relies on a well-proven operating concept for evaporations with large amounts of solvents. The inlet separator (AK) retains particles and liquid droplets, the waste vapor condenser at the outlet (EK) is highly efficient and compact. The condenser enables near-100-percent solvent recovery, efficient recycling, and active protection of the environment. The NT VARIO can be equipped with these accessories later. The Vario 12c pump is an excellent solution for those who need high pumping speed and are working with high boiling point solvents. Combined with the reliability born of its chemical resistant fluoropolymer and perfluoroelastomer wetted materials, this pump delivers reliable performance for floor-standing rotary evaporators, vacuum drying ovens, vacuum distillation columns, and other similar applications. The integrated vacuum controller provides an easy-to-use, application based interface that covers all common lab applications. The vacuum controller has you covered. Use manual set-point-control for simple processes, run fully automated distillations, or create your own application with simple drag-and-drop editing. For solvent evaporation, the vacuum controller continuously detects the boiling point and automatically adjusts the vacuum process to maintain process control. With VARIO control, the pump runs only as fast is necessary. This extends the maintenance intervals and makes the pumping unit whisper quiet. Also available 4c Vario

  • The Apollo Vacuum Controller is an advanced scientific laboratory vacuum controller, display, digital readout, and vacuum live reading analysis device. (Pictured here shows location of the display and first 536 sensor {above}. Second picture shows location of second 536 sensor off the vacuum pump line {below}) This controller not only shows real time data for your laboratory process, it can also be used as a live pump down curve testing device for vacuum pumps in your lab. From seeing guaranteed accurate readings in your short path system to identifying the health of your pump, the Apollo is the most advanced tool in your arsenal when it comes to vacuum control with accuracy and quality second to none. All Summit hardware is now compatible with the new free ATHENA software. Here is a Youtube to help install. Do you have a rotary evaporator or falling film that needs full vacuum control? Take a look at the Proportional Vacuum Controller.   Standard options:
    • The first two pre-installed board locations have two 536 cleanable sensors (KF25), factory calibrated to a NIST certified test bench on each device prior to shipping. Usually one sensor is attached to the laminar portion of a short path to tell you what is going on in the system, and the second is attached to the pump to tell you the health and performance of the pump array in use.
    • A third board location is pre-installed and pre-calibrated for the use of a UHVP sensor (ultra high vacuum pressure) which is an option to be added-on if the user wants to use a third pump bay accessory like a diffusion pump or turbo pump etc. without any further needed upgrades to the Apollo itself.
    • A fourth board location is pre-installed for phantom power. There are two phantom power ports used to control the optional added-on feature on external control valves.  Each are independently controlled by the Apollo core software built in. With no needed upgrades to the Apollo itself.
    • A fifth board location is pre-installed with sweep valve controlling hardware.
This device comes with the control box (brain), the digital chemical duty touch screen, two 536 sensors and all necessary device cables and cords. (everything in last picture) Spec Sheet Button Upgrades are:
    • Inert gas sweep valve kit and pressure regulator for turbo charging system speeds in various processes.
    • Up to two phantom powered Edwards bellow valves for vacuum valve control of wet or dry vacuum operation.
    • UHVP Sensor for additional diffusion or turbo control.
Custom configurations allow the Apollo to be configured directly from summit with up to four sensors, and four control valves, both proportional and on/off style. Please inquire if you want your Apollo Vacuum Controller you've purchased expanded and/or modified.

  • Apiezon H

    $197.75
25g Apiezon H Grease is a silicone-free high vacuum grease perfectly suited for use at high temperatures in both scientific and industrial applications. Thanks to its 'stiction' power Apiezon H Grease is ideal for use with laboratory glassware. Its high thermal conductivity makes it the perfect vacuum grease in situations where heat sink media requires adhesion. Exhibits a vapour pressure of 1.7 x 10-9 Torr at 20°C and upper operating temp of 240°C
    Why Use Apiezon H Grease?
    • performs well under a wide range of temperatures, from -10 to +240°C, and retains its optimum consistency at temperatures between +10 and +110°C
    • rather than melting, actually becomes stiffer as temperature increases and therefore is not recommended for highly stressed bearings
    • has excellent heat transfer properties
    • conducts heat away from the site of operation, reducing the danger of overheating and damaging heat-sensitive components
    • exhibits good 'stiction' or sticking power
    • has powerful 'gettering' action, meaning it absorbs potentially harmful grease and chemical impurities on metal and glass surfaces
    • is easy to clean and remove as it is soluble in hydrocarbon solvents
  • Ultra high vacuum grease. 100g Apiezon 501 is a chemically inert, high temperature and extreme pressure lubricant. With an upper operating temperature of 250°C and vapour pressure of 1.3 x 10-12 at 25°C, it is robust, versatile and can be used for sealing and lubricating under the most extreme operating conditions. One-stage diaphragm pumps are an excellent solution for continuous, oil-free pumping of gases and vapors at low vacuum requirement. In contrast to waterjet pumps they do not consume water and therefore do not produce any contaminated waste water in daily use. Typical applications are vacuum ovens, filtrations and multi-port manifolds for medium throughput, as well as pumping of gases and oil-free evacuation in general. The one-stage construction provides the advantageous combination of high pumping speed and low ultimate vacuum down to 70 mbar. CVC-3000 German Controller

    $2,499.99
The CVC-3000 manages vacuum processes by controlling vacuum pumps, vacuum and coolant valves and accessories. The illuminated graphical display with clear text menus (14 languages) and the jog wheel make its handling nearly self-explanatory. Depending on the model, a ceramic diaphragm vacuum sensor and venting valve are already integrated (or externally connectable). • The SVG-3 is a 3-zone digital identifier with all boards built in, for the first time user it comes STANDARD with 2-zone that reads two locations that are within (A)x10-4, to deliver accurate readings up to the range of 3-4 scale vacuum. The STANDARD SVG-3 is supplied with two extremely accurate and robust KF25 sensors that can either read at the distribution adapter/distillation and/or read the vacuum rate the pump is pulling. The SVG-3 comes with three pre-installed circuits built in, two of which are calibrated and installed for the 2 zone reading feature in the standard SVG-3 package. The third circuit installed and calibrated is READY and COMPLETELY setup for the addition of a UHVP sensor. So exactly what is this setup? Easy, this is a encompassing 3 zone controller, designed at its full potential to read accurate readings from the:
    1. Distillation area of interest either at the cold trap, or at the reaction area.
    2. Initial vacuum pump readings that will allow the user to see the ultimate vacuum at the pump vs the vacuum at the first location.
    3. UHVP kits can now be added on with the third sensor that reads vacuum at the ultra high vacuum side.
