Summit Research Fraction Finder figures out where components start and stop flowing to optimize separation. Making the short path distillation process more precise and repeatable, Fraction Finding takes the guess work out. Someone running a distillation can make better decisions if they knew exactly where they were in the distillation process. Scientists have developed expertise in this area to the point where they know what to expect. The Summit Research Fraction Finder does exactly that and will be your best friend in your laboratory. Included with:
-
Fraction Finder Adapter allows for an Ultra-Sensitive Fraction Finder to be utilized on any chromatography unit. GL18 to size 34 glass to GL18. As always, Summit uses 100% best quality glass blanks that are THICKER and built BEYOND STANDARDS made right here in the USA. Our glassware is made specifically for efficiency and durability. Summit provides the quality of lab equipment that you deserve. Fraction Finder and hosing not included. Summit recommends all users of any and all glassware to operate inside a ventilated fume hood with sufficient blast shields to prevent injury in case of fatigued glass failure. Summit is not responsible or liable for the result of any failures from use, and/or loss of subsequent hardware contamination/failure with or without the result of material loss or damaged caused to surroundings. By purchasing our premiere lines of laboratory glassware the user is responsible to operate in the recommended environment safely. We recommend all users to operate in a legal and licensed facility where safety is the number 1 goal. Fraction Finder Adapter

The Fraction Finder Sensor #29 consists of an optical light pulse and detector, acting as “the eyes” of the system. It wraps around a distillation set up condenser tube and connects to the Fraction Finder display to track important data on the distillation. These sensors are black for a reason:
- Black absorbs all light while blocking out ambient light.
- This leads to better signaling and the most valid data possible transmitting to the Fraction Finder display.
- For example, a white sensor wouldn’t work because it would reflect the light into your glassware and into the sensor, harming the reading.
- This reduces any degradation from solvents, crude oils, extracts, etc..
- This protects the sensor and ensures that it lives to see an endless amount of runs.
- The black coating we use on each sensor is a high temperature, thermal resistant coating, it can withstand temperatures well above anything you’d see in a distillation lab.
- It’s nearly impossible to set one of our sensors on fire, the coating is almost completely fireproof!
- This protects the user, the equipment, and (in worst case scenarios) the entire lab.

The Sensor Ultra Sensitive features the brand new, ultra-sensitive sensor. This package is unique in that - not only does it serve distillation and extraction processes - but also serves Chromatography, Conversion Reaction, and other processes that require more extreme detection. For certain processes, highly sensitive process monitoring is essential. Generally speaking, the more solvent involved in the process means the more sensitive the sensor needs to be. With that in mind, the ULTRA was created. If you are an existing customer, you have the option to upgrade to a standalone ULTRA Sensor for $1,350. Please call us for more details. Use this sensor on any chromatography column with the GL18 to #34 adapter. The Fraction Finder Sensor 34/45 consists of an optical light pulse and detector, acting as “the eyes” of the system. It wraps around a distillation/chromatography setup tube and connects to the Fraction Finder display to track important data on the process.

Chroma Column FF 6x48 with coarse/fine mixed frit and heavy wall thickness of 3mm. Special design allows for #29 Fraction Finder that permits you to check your fraction and watch your progression. Attach a FF between the frit and the stopcock area. Comes with rodaviss , GL18 and #45 Chroma Cap. Fraction Finder not included. All of our chromatography columns now have option to add an Ultra Sensitive Fraction Finder! Please use this column at your own risk! In addition to lab stands, it is recommended that you secure the lab stands to a wall or sturdy foundation while also using sandbags. This column will surpass 100+ lbs of weight holding full fluid. Please make sure you are offsetting the weight of your fluids. Summit requires this chromatography column to be supported by 3 chain clamps and a top mounted cork clamp. Summit recommends applying a thin rubber strip (the length of the chains contact) under the chain clamps (not included) to maximize grip. This column may slip though clamps if not properly bottom supported. Recommended (yet again), to have a lab tripod base (use rubber stripping here as well) or a circular clamp about 5" diameter (not included)(last picture). The Chroma Column FF 6x48 has no warranty. https://www.instagram.com/p/B5Lv5CzBAS-/ As always, Summit uses 100% best quality glass blanks that are THICKER and built BEYOND STANDARDS made right here in the USA.
