  • The Sensor Ultra Sensitive features the brand new, ultra-sensitive sensor. This package is unique in that - not only does it serve distillation and extraction processes - but also serves Chromatography, Conversion Reaction, and other processes that require more extreme detection. For certain processes, highly sensitive process monitoring is essential. Generally speaking, the more solvent involved in the process means the more sensitive the sensor needs to be. With that in mind, the ULTRA was created. If you are an existing customer, you have the option to upgrade to a standalone ULTRA Sensor for $1,350. Please call us for more details. Use this sensor on any chromatography column with the GL18 to #34 adapter. The Fraction Finder Sensor 34/45 consists of an optical light pulse and detector, acting as “the eyes” of the system. It wraps around a distillation/chromatography setup tube and connects to the Fraction Finder display to track important data on the process.
    • Fraction Finder optical sensor with ultra-sensitive detector

Information common with all Fraction Finder sensors

These sensors are black for a reason:
    • Black absorbs all light while blocking out ambient light.
    • This leads to better signaling and the most valid data possible transmitting to the Fraction Finder display.
    • For example, a white sensor wouldn’t work because it would reflect the light into your glassware and into the sensor, harming the reading.
    Chemical Resistant
    • This reduces any degradation from solvents, crude oils, extracts, etc..
    • This protects the sensor and ensures that it lives to see an endless amount of runs.
    Thermo Resistant / Safety
    • The black coating we use on each sensor is a high temperature, thermal resistant coating, it can withstand temperatures well above anything you’d see in a distillation lab.
    • It’s nearly impossible to set one of our sensors on fire, the coating is almost completely fireproof!
    • This protects the user, the equipment, and (in worst case scenarios) the entire lab.
Sensor only, monitor and accessories not included.
  • First of its kind, innovation and performance meet the future of distillation. The Ultra Short Path Distillation Micro Head (previously SPD-7.1) is a fascinating technology inspired by an ultra low temperature process. The Summit research SPD-7.1 is a horizontal head designed to fully refine products at a low temperature; preferred material required should be refined previously, or physically refined through all filtration and washing/chroma processes prior to running through this system. Material must be completely dried and full vacuum cannot be engaged if material is wet. Do not attempt to load green/black crude material. This system requires much more vacuum requirement so please keep in mind the 22 liter system takes a diffusion, and the 5 liter system can use dual e2m28/30. With a high flow dual condenser coil to GL18 adapters, the temps are dialed in throughout this horizontal head. Big bore 45/50 inlet and outlet with a traditional 29/42 discharge to flask. Wait, there's more! This head acts as a large swing arm, so you can swing and engage the flask to your targeted fraction. • Short Path Distillation Head FC55 Tall models include 55/50 main bore with a 34/45 discharge and thermoport. This is the tallest of our FC55 models for more selectivity and reduced speeds. It has multiple rows of vigreux adding more rejection. When Summit Research initially released the first fraction collector technology we knew it would be a hit. We have innovated the newest distillation technology with the industry leading high-efficiency heads. We have retrofitted all Summit Research heads to incorporate our patented distillation technology. These heads rival wiped film speeds at a fraction of the cost, and higher clarity/purity/speed. The fraction collector head offers extremely high-efficiency operational parameters unparalleled to anything available on the market. Summit delivers solutions and results to our customers coming from extensive research and design in the field of high speed, high potency, low temperature, consistent distillations day after day. The differences between the FC series heads are the heights. Lower height heads will have less selectivity with faster speeds and lower temps, taller heads will have slightly slower speeds with slightly higher temps with more selectivity. Partnered with our patented laminar path technology and the inverted cup cold trap/hardpipe kits, our customers experience smooth, fast and consistent clarity time after time. We innovate where others imitate. 100% made in USA with Schott glass. GL14s, key and well stopper included. • UHVP Sensor

    $2,199.99
The UHVP Sensor 8 Scale is for the SVG-3 or Apollo Vacuum Gauge. This is a post upgrade to work the 3rd UHVP port. The K.J. Lester Vacuum Gauge is the workhorse for all vacuum measurement applications. This controller combines two sensor systems into one small device to measure from atmosphere to 1x10 – 9 mbar. The patented ultra-low magnetic stray field design opens up a whole new range of applications. A unique interchangeable dual chamber sensor unit avoids cleaning cycles and reduces maintenance, making it the most robust and economical vacuum gauge of its kind. KF25 flange.
  • The SVG-3 is a 3-zone digital identifier with all boards built in, for the first time user it comes STANDARD with 2-zone that reads two locations that are within (A)x10-4, to deliver accurate readings up to the range of 3-4 scale vacuum. The STANDARD SVG-3 is supplied with two extremely accurate and robust KF25 sensors that can either read at the distribution adapter/distillation and/or read the vacuum rate the pump is pulling. The SVG-3 comes with three pre-installed circuits built in, two of which are calibrated and installed for the 2 zone reading feature in the standard SVG-3 package. The third circuit installed and calibrated is READY and COMPLETELY setup for the addition of a UHVP sensor. So exactly what is this setup? Easy, this is a encompassing 3 zone controller, designed at its full potential to read accurate readings from the:
    1. Distillation area of interest either at the cold trap, or at the reaction area.
    2. Initial vacuum pump readings that will allow the user to see the ultimate vacuum at the pump vs the vacuum at the first location.
    3. UHVP kits can now be added on with the third sensor that reads vacuum at the ultra high vacuum side.
Spec Sheet Button  PDF Manual Contents include: 1x interface 3x circuits loaded, reinstalled, and calibrated 2x standard 4 scale vacuum sensor with kf25 The upgrade to the UHVP section requires only one part and is supplied only if pre-ordered with the setup, or purchased later.   Want a touch screen vacuum gauge? • Chroma Column FF 6x48 with coarse/fine mixed frit and heavy wall thickness of 3mm. Special design allows for #29 Fraction Finder that permits you to check your fraction and watch your progression. Attach a FF between the frit and the stopcock area. Comes with rodaviss , GL18 and #45 Chroma Cap. Fraction Finder not included. All of our chromatography columns now have option to add an Ultra Sensitive Fraction Finder! Please use this column at your own risk! In addition to lab stands, it is recommended that you secure the lab stands to a wall or sturdy foundation while also using sandbags. This column will surpass 100+ lbs of weight holding full fluid. Please make sure you are offsetting the weight of your fluids. Summit requires this chromatography column to be supported by 3 chain clamps and a top mounted cork clamp. Summit recommends applying a thin rubber strip (the length of the chains contact) under the chain clamps (not included) to maximize grip. This column may slip though clamps if not properly bottom supported. Recommended (yet again), to have a lab tripod base (use rubber stripping here as well) or a circular clamp about 5" diameter (not included)(last picture).
