Simple yet powerful, the GVS40A uses displacement and horsepower to achieve CFM. Unlike many other types of pumps that require complex fore traps, cryotraps, etc. – a well maintained single stage rotary vane can withstand great amounts abuse; making them very affordable and usable without much worry. Edwards E2M series two stage oil sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps are renowned for their high ultimate vacuum, rapid pumping speeds, quiet operation and ability to handle water vapor. These direct drive rotary vane pumps are inherently compact and vibration free.

Mechanical boosters feature the unique hydro-kinetic drive that provides pump down times cut by 50%, when compared with direct drive pumps, no bypass lines or pressure switches required, universal voltage motors, reduced capital and operating costs, air cooled motors – with water cooled options, and quiet, minimum vibration. Invoil 32 is a premium diffusion pump oil with a specially developed double-distilled diffusion pump fluid. This hydrocarbon is modified for high temperature use with a strong antioxidant. Its properties include increased resistance to decomposition and improved stability against oxidation.
The CVC-3000 manages vacuum processes by controlling vacuum pumps, vacuum and coolant valves and accessories. The illuminated graphical display with clear text menus (14 languages) and the jog wheel make its handling nearly self-explanatory. Depending on the model, a ceramic diaphragm vacuum sensor and venting valve are already integrated (or externally connectable). The ceramic vacuum sensor is chemically highly resistant, measures gas-type independent and accurately. This controller offers a two-point vacuum control mode via in-line solenoid valve. Ten fully configurable programs (with up to ten time and pressure steps each, and control functions such as venting and pumping) can be easily edited and stored. External valves and sensors for liquid level and vacuum down to the fine vacuum range are easy to connect and recognized automatically via the VACUU·BUS® control system. The CVC-3000 enables the measurement of relative pressure with regard to a reference sensor (VSK 3000).
