Short Path Distillation Head HB1 100 comes equipped with 34/45 discharge port and a 100mm bore that secures to a boiling flask with o-ring and clamp. The Short Path Distillation Head HB1 100, or previously SPD-4 MPD (modified path distillation), was created for one of our testers Breaking Dabs aka Heisenberg. With his unique skills he has helped us tune the HB series heads to evolve and provide solutions for our users. HB1 is designed to be ultra selective to evacuate all previous fractions before the main body without letting the main body through. With some temp, main body can come out extremely fast and this head can be used as a first pass head. It is very effective in removing heads fractions while retaining main body components. The Short Path Distillation Head FC34 (spd-2 fc34) has been upgraded with our new fraction collector technology. This head runs specifically for smaller setups (2L & 5L). Equipped with #34 bore, #29 discharge arm and #24 key port. All tapers are traditional. When Summit Research initially released the first fraction collector technology we knew it would be a hit. We have innovated the newest distillation technology with the industry leading high-efficiency heads. We have retrofitted all Summit Research heads to incorporate our patented distillation technology. The fraction collector head offers extremely high-efficiency operational parameters unparalleled to anything available on the market.
