Liquid Temp Control Key 34/45 is a short path distillation head key that is used to generate a localized cold/hot surface. The temperature achieved reduces or enlarges the quantity of volatile material exhausted into the air. This premium Schott glass 34mm plug is 8.5 inch overall length and 4.5 inch from the bottom of the frosted taper with the tip being a small condenser coil. High Temp GL14s included. This is a custom married part to the ultra short path distillation systems by Summit Research. A triple coil intermediate trap with 55/50 inlet and 34/45 outlet to cold trap. This trapping mechanism is used as a laminar path connection and can be ran hot or cold depending on your process. Short Path Distillation Head HB2 100 comes equipped with 34/45 key port, 34/45 discharge port and a 100mm bore that secures to a boiling flask with o-ring and clamp. The Short Path Distillation Head HB2 100, or previously SPD-4 MPD (modified path distillation), was created for one of our testers Breaking Dabs aka Heisenberg. With his unique skills he has helped us tune the HB series heads to evolve and provide solutions for our users. HB2 is designed to be ultra high speed with precision refinement. This head was bench marked by Heisenberg on a dual e2m30 array achieving 6 liters per hour without any effort at all. This head can be setup for very low temperatures, high clarity, and high speeds. Requirement to use these heads would be a sogevac + dual e2m30 -OR- sogevac + e80 -OR- sogevac + e80 + diffusion array. This particular setup benefits from a custom diffusion array and an Apollo Vacuum Controller with the inert gas sweeping feature. Effectively increasing the stock speed and lowering the temperatures further. The Swagelok DV-2 is a ball and needle 3/8 dual pump valve kit. A high vacuum, 2 piece valve setup, rated for up to 8/9 scale. This item itself is a major tool in controlling vacuum or bleeding atmosphere into pump without risking any leak point. Swagelok is leading the industry in these types of valves.
