Which fractions can the Fraction Finder detect? During short-path distillation, it can distinguish what is colloquially known as “Heads”, “Main Bodies”, and “Tails”. Click here for a list of molecules, such as Delta-9 and more. What units of measure does the Fraction Finder digital readout use? The system uses Nanometers (nm) and Intensity (au). Can the Fraction Finder sensor fit on size 24 glass? If you have size 24 glass, order our 24/40 adapter, which can fit a size 29 sensor. What heat can the Fraction Finder sensor handle? The Fraction Finder sensor can handle around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. If you plan to exceed these limits, order one of our Hot Tech Adapters. Does the Fraction Finder work the same as an HPLC? Both systems use spectroscopic analysis to identify chemicals. However, the type of spectroscopy that detection method and wavelength regime are different. The Fraction Finder operates uses fluorescence, whereas HPLCs utilize absorption. -

Chromatography Column 5x48 (inches) with coarse/fine mixed frit. Heavy wall thickness of 3mm. Comes with Rodaviss connection and 45/50 Chroma Cap (GL14 feed/vacuum port). The drain has a PTFE stopcock to GL18. All GLs are included. Chroma Cap has elongated recessed port with diffuser. This directs fluid spray against walls to gently fill the column and protect media from movement. All of our chromatography columns now have option to add an Ultra Sensitive Fraction Finder! The Valved Coil-less Laminar 34 allows you to isolate your joint with a PTFE threaded valve. Enables you to swap out your receiving flask without loosing vacuum. With this option, simply lower the valve and unscrew the GL cap to release the vacuum to change your flask. Comes complete with 24/40 Stopper, all necessary keck clips, GL14 cap and choice of #24/40 KF25 adapter.
