First of its kind, innovation and performance meet the future of distillation. The Ultra Short Path Distillation Micro Head (previously SPD-7.1) is a fascinating technology inspired by an ultra low temperature process. The Summit research SPD-7.1 is a horizontal head designed to fully refine products at a low temperature; preferred material required should be refined previously, or physically refined through all filtration and washing/chroma processes prior to running through this system. Material must be completely dried and full vacuum cannot be engaged if material is wet. Do not attempt to load green/black crude material. This system requires much more vacuum requirement so please keep in mind the 22 liter system takes a diffusion, and the 5 liter system can use dual e2m28/30. With a high flow dual condenser coil to GL18 adapters, the temps are dialed in throughout this horizontal head. Big bore 45/50 inlet and outlet with a traditional 29/42 discharge to flask. Short Path Distillation Head HB2 100 comes equipped with 34/45 key port, 34/45 discharge port and a 100mm bore that secures to a boiling flask with o-ring and clamp. The Short Path Distillation Head HB2 100, or previously SPD-4 MPD (modified path distillation), was created for one of our testers Breaking Dabs aka Heisenberg. With his unique skills he has helped us tune the HB series heads to evolve and provide solutions for our users. HB2 is designed to be ultra high speed with precision refinement. This head was bench marked by Heisenberg on a dual e2m30 array achieving 6 liters per hour without any effort at all. This head can be setup for very low temperatures, high clarity, and high speeds. Requirement to use these heads would be a sogevac + dual e2m30 -OR- sogevac + e80 -OR- sogevac + e80 + diffusion array. This particular setup benefits from a custom diffusion array and an Apollo Vacuum Controller with the inert gas sweeping feature. Effectively increasing the stock speed and lowering the temperatures further.
