This trapping mechanism is used as a laminar path connection and can be ran hot or cold depending on your process. The Cold Trap 2 (CT-2 Inv Cup) sets itself apart from others with its patented inverse cup technology. Vapors enter the cup, creating a turbulent vortex, then are forced to condense straight down ensuring proper dry vacuum protection to the pumps.
