Reflux condensers are used in “conversion” processes to cool the vapor molecules emitted from heated oils to change their gaseous state back into liquid by means of a chilled dual coil. This unit is recommended for 12L and smaller boiling flasks. How it works: The condenser is attached to the boiling flask joint and is secured in a vertical position. Chiller fluid is circulated through the coil to cause the vapors to condense as they rise up through the condenser coils thus preventing them from escaping. This gives you the option to reflux different fluids in your boiling flask for extended periods of time before you run the SPD, this is a must have in the lab for conversions. The KF16 Clamp combined with KF16 O Ring form a vacuum tight seal between the connection flanges. This circumferential clamp is used for connecting standard NW16 / KF16 vacuum components. Aluminum clamp with butterfly nut for easy tightening. -

The Valved Coil-less Laminar 34 allows you to isolate your joint with a PTFE threaded valve. Enables you to swap out your receiving flask without loosing vacuum. With this option, simply lower the valve and unscrew the GL cap to release the vacuum to change your flask. Comes complete with 24/40 Stopper, all necessary keck clips, GL14 cap and choice of #24/40 KF25 adapter.
