Your We found most competitor controllers, even some with attempted claims of certification, weren’t exactly liquid sealed, liquid tight, or even safe to operate when the conversation comes up of a spill or major leak on a laboratory table. This leads to shock, breaker failures, or other horrible accidents. The typical use of controllers on the table is traditional however Summit Research has a new concept that is made to break the mold. The addition, for the Genesis controller, to offer a sealed box and wall attachment is an exciting new way to free space on your lab table, as well as ensure no spilled liquids can affect the box, function or safety around electrical devices.

We start with a contractor breaker system for the on and off function. We placed a top of the line voltage regulator and power supply inside to control the motor controller with added safety and without the use of micro controller board supply devices. We included a premium, unlocked, locked or custom programmable motor controller which is further bolstered by it’s fine tunable dialing of magnetic pill speed. We chose to go with a top of the line, 3 turn potentiometer that loops back to a digital control. What this means is that the motor speed control is finely controlled with large potentiometer movements converting to small rpm changes. Instead of motor controllers that offer a 0-50-100% feel, ours offers a silky smooth control of rpm with exact response and resolution noticeable in the pill when dialing in the potentiometer speed control. The mantle operates on industry standard mountable SSR devices to control the power loop circuit. There are zero micro controllers powering the voltage loop circuit to the jacket/mantle. The power circuit only operates on a 220-240 volt single phase circuit for added safety. This is controlled for safety by the circuit breaker switch. The stainless bowl sits on built in billet turned legs that can be raised or lowered 2 inches and upon request up to 4 inches if you need more clearance. The belt assembly is inspired by a robotic arm pulley assembly ensuring positive connection, no vibration and long lasting parts with ABEC 7 bearings. We chose to use machinist bearings due to their long lifespan and generally silent operation. The rotating assembly we proudly offer is the patented “magnetic gauss lense” technology developed for perfect pill position and incredible magnetic coupling capacity. We invented a novel new way to direct the magnetic force and balance of magnetic fields to a pinpoint location. Unlike other magnetic pill spinners they only create a “zone” of magnetism and this is why pills throw or cannot encourage a complete coupling. The Genesis spinner offers the industry leading 1:1 force to rotation pill coupler. Using proprietary magnetic materials and technology to essentially control the exact location of polar marriages in a magnetic field has never been accomplished. We have seen China and other name brand mantles possess rotating pills that move slower than the magnetic assembly below it and slip in magnetism often even in non-viscous fluids. The new Genesis system can mix the thickest fluids without slipping and 100% coupling activity without loss of rotation or efficiency. The rotating system has a built in turbine blade system milled directly on the spinner to fan away and shed heat from itself for a “magnetic insurance” that prevents heat from piling up on the magnetic materials that slowly demagnetize themselves or become weaker. Depending on the torque required, due to the size of the spinning coupler, we offer 60-12-180 watt versions which can all be upgraded upon purchase if you need more wattage to mix thicker products.

• Heating bowl has multi zones on a network. If one panel goes out the rest will operate, though less wattage is applied.
• Equipped with circuit breaker, re-settable fuse.
• Equipped with a contactor. If the circuit breaks or there is a ground short fault that trips the breaker, a complete two pole contactor disconnects the power from the entire unit and bowl/jacket.
• Equipped with voltage regulation, spike sensing and AC to DC power supply protection from Meanwell.
• The mantle and the control box are grounded to one point internally.

For the exception of spillage in the bowl or traditional heater uses there are parts that require maintenance to ensure a long lasting device. Granted, the maintenance for this unit is in far longer intervals and greatly reduced compared to anything on the market. The rotational system is designed for nonstop back and forth usage with prolonged lifespan motors.
